Wetu Suggests: Use this when clients are staying at the same place for a long time, when you will not be adding activities each day, or when you will be recommending the same activities for each day.

Getting Started

The Day Grouping is adjusted in the Accommodation Step of the Itinerary Builder. Each time you add an accommodation you are able to choose between 'Day By Day', 'By Destination' and 'Mixed Day'. Once you have chosen your option you will see the difference in the Planner Step.

Note: Avoid changing the Destination Layout after filling in day notes, activities, includes and excludes as well as expert tips in the Planner Step. This will result in losing the information you have already added.

Day By Day Option

The 'Day By Day' option allows you to add activities and day notes on each day. You would use this when you have specific activities booked for specific days as you are able to add the date and time of the activity for your client.

To do this select 'Day By Day' on the Accommodation Step for the relevant accommodation.

When you open the Planner Step, you will notice that there is an option to toggle between each day of the destination.

When you view the itinerary, each day will have a separate section on the itinerary:

By Destination Option

Selecting the 'By Destination' option will group all days at a specific accommodation together in the Planner Step, allowing you to only add one set of activities and day notes for that accommodation. This is ideal if the guests have time at leisure or are participating in the same activities on each day.

To do this select 'By Destination' on the Accommodation Step for the relevant accommodation.

When you open the Planner Step, you will notice that all the days of the for that accommodation have been grouped together in the planner.

When you view the itinerary, the days will remain grouped together:

Mixed Day Option

The 'Mixed Day' option allows for the best of both of the above options. This is especially great if a client is spending a long time in a specific destination, but you only have activities planned for one or two of the days.

Once you select 'Mixed Day', a pop up will appear where you can choose which days you want to group together and which days you want to split.

You are able to further manage them with the scissors on the side.

When you open the Planner Step, you will see that the grouping you have chosen.

Your itineraries will also show the correct groupings for your guests:
