Adding Content: Contact Details

Without contact details, your clients cannot make bookings and build relationships with you. The more specific the contact details are, the easier it is for clients to contact the correct person quickly and effortlessly. This article will guide you through the process of loading your contact details to your listing and show you where they will display in your iBrochure.

This functionality is available for all Supplier Listings

Getting Started

Once your listing or listings have been linked to your account, you will find them under 'Your Content' (at the bottom of your Dashboard - depending on the functions available on your Dashboard, you might have to scroll down to see your listing).

Note: If you have an iBrochure, it will sit under 'Enhanced Listings' while Free Listings will sit under 'Your Listings'.

Click on the 'Product Name' of your listing (in green) or 'Edit' to update your listing and 'View on Map' to see where your Listing is located on the Wetu Map.

The link to your iBrochure will also be available for you to copy. This is the link you use when distributing your iBrochure.

When you click 'Edit' an Update Form will open with a Menu on the left for you to add all of your relevant content. Under General Information click on 'Contact Details' to add your information.

Adding Contact Details

Here you will see several fields for you to add the relevant contact details that you have for your Listing i.e Front Desk, Reservation/Booking, Marketing Contact Person etc (scroll down to see all fields). The contacts saved here will appear on your iBrochure within Wetu and when you distribute it.

Should you want to link your Facebook page, please put in the full address. For example  https://www.facebook.com/example?ref=hl

For Twitter, link only your Twitter handle for example  Examplehandle and not @Examplehandle or https://twitter.com/Examplehandle
For Instagram, link the whole URL, for example  https://www.instagram.com/exampleaccount/

Wetu Suggests: Adding any or all contacts is not mandatory but contact details play a huge role in simplifying communication between you and your clients as well as serve as reassurance for services offered. We suggest loading Reservations and Marketing details at least.

Note: Always save before proceeding to the next tab. If you do not save you will lose the information you have entered the moment you click on the new tab.

Where Contacts Will be Displayed on Your iBrochure

As explained previously, you have options on the type of contacts you are able to load. Some of these contacts will display on outputs while others are strictly for your internal use. Below is a detailed breakdown of which contacts will show on outputs and which ones will not.

Front Desk, Reservation/Bookings, Marketing Contact Person
Details filled under these fields will pull through to your iBrochure. Should the front desk number be blank, the number under reservations/bookings will pull through instead. If you add a direct link to online reservation, the Enquire button on your iBrochure will switch to a Book Now button and redirect clients to your reservation page.

Accounts Contact Person
These details do not display on the iBrochure, however, they do display in the Consultant Portal for your Agents and Tour Operators to see.

Sales Person, Contact Manager
These details are simply for internal and Wetu purposes and will not show on any output.

General and GDS Codes
Your physical address will pull through on your iBrochure and the social media links you add will translate into clickable icons redirecting people to your pages. GDS codes will display on the iBrochure and Agents and Tour perators will have access to them in their Consultant Portal.

Booking Affiliate
Wetu is integrated with some online booking systems and adding the code provided by the booking system he will link them.

Note: Operators are able to include your contact details upon generating a Printable Itinerary but only details you have loaded under 'Reservation' and 'Physical Address' will pull through. The other details will pull into your iBrochure
