Adding Content: Fast Facts

Fast Facts are an important part of your listing, as they enable clients to see important information about your listing at a glance and gives them a quick idea of what's on offer. This article will guide you through the process of adding these facts and explains which details about your listing can be included under Fast Facts.

Getting Started

Once your listing or listings have been linked to your account, you will find them under 'Your Content' (at the bottom of your Dashboard - depending on the functions available on your Dashboard, you might have to scroll down to see the listing/s).

Note: If you have an iBrochure, it will sit under 'Enhanced Listings', while a Free Listing will sit under 'Your Properties'.

Click on the 'Product Name' of your listing (in green) or 'Edit' to update your listing, and click on 'View on Map' to see where your listing is located on the Wetu map. 

The link to your iBrochure will also be available for you to copy. This is the link you use when distributing your iBrochure. 

When you click on the 'Product Name' of your listing or on 'Edit', an Update Form will open with a menu on the left-hand side where you can add all of your relevant content. Under Product Information click on 'Fast Facts' to enter more information about your listing.

Adding Fast Facts

In this section, you are able to add certain details in free text fields and use the tick boxes to add additional details. The details you select will be displayed on your iBrochure and will also appear on digital itineraries featuring your listing that are built by Operators in Wetu.
The free text fields and selection of details to choose from will vary based on your type of listing, e.g. Accommodation, Activity, Boat / Cruise Ship, Conference Venue, Mobile Safari, Restaurant and Train listings will each have distinct details to fill in. However, there are a few sections that are standard across all types of listings. Below are all of the categories and which type of listing they apply to 
Languages
Here you can select all of the languages spoken either by staff or by tour guides.
Friendly
Choose from these options to highlight the types of events, customers and/or environments which your service is geared towards. This section is only included for Accommodation, Boat / Cruise Ship, Mobile Safari and Train listings. These details do not appear on any itinerary output but are used internally by Operators within their own Wetu systems for search and filter functions.
Special Interests
Use these options to showcase special experiences, unique selling points and specific pleasures or benefits of your service or location. This section is only included for Accommodation, Activity, Boat / Cruise Ship, Mobile Safari and Train listings.
Tour Operator / Travel Agent Guidance

Here you can select miscellaneous options which may apply to your service, including important information about certain types of amenities or arrangements which may be available. This section is only included for Accommodation, Boat / Cruise Ship, Mobile Safari and Train listings. These details do not appear on any itinerary output but are used internally by Operators within their own Wetu systems for search and filter functions.

Cuisine
Select the applicable options to specify the different types or styles of food available to customers making use of your Restaurant. This section is only included for Restaurant listings.
Ambience
Choose from these options to reflect the particular style or atmosphere of your Restaurant. This section is only included for Restaurant listings.
Facilities
Here you can select which facilities, services and/or amenities are generally available for your services. This section is only included for Activity and Restaurant listings. 

Participation
These options are only available for Mobile Safari listings and provide customers with important information on the viability of your safari/s. Currently, these details do not appear on any itinerary output but are used internally by Operators within their own Wetu systems for search and filter functions.

Conference Facilities
Select the applicable options to indicate which conference-specific facilities and/or amenities are available at your venue. This section is only included for Conference Venue listings.

Conference Equipment
Choose from these options to specify which conferencing equipment is available for use. This section is only included for Conference Venue listings.

Suitable For
Select the applicable options to specify the customer age and bracket (in terms of activity levels and interests) that your activities are suitable for. This section is only included for Activity listings.

Weather Requirement
Use these options to advise customers on the availability of services or if availability is dependent on the weather. This section is only included for Activity listings.

Once you are satisfied with your work, select 'Save' before proceeding to the next section of the Update Form.

Note: Always save before proceeding to the next section of the Update Form. If you do not save you will lose all of the information you have entered the moment you click on a new tab in the menu on the left-hand side.

Where the Fast Facts will be Displayed on your iBrochure

Your Fast Facts will display under 'Overview' once you view your iBrochure .
