Itinerary Builder: Covid Notifications
Due to the "New Normal" as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Wetu has launched new functionality whereby Suppliers are able to upload documents related to their approach to COVID -19. Take a look below to see how this will impact your itineraries as well as where to find and how to view the documents.

Getting Started
Nothing needs to be preset on your account to activate this functionality, simply open a previously built itinerary or create a new one in the Itinerary Builder.
Where is this information from
The documents and details displaying on the itinerary for your clients are loaded directly by the providers themselves. This way, we can ensure accurate information is provided to your clients.
Adding Accommodations
When adding accommodation to your itinerary, you will see a new symbol in the search results which indicated a property that has uploaded COVID-19 Documents.
Once the property is added to your itinerary, select the icon next to the property. A pop up will appear, allowing you to download and view the documents.
Adding Activities and Services
When searching for Activities, Restaurants and Places of Interest to add into your Planner Step, the search results will also display the symbol if COVID-19 documents have been loaded by the supplier.
Once added into the Planner, the COVID-19 Symbol will show. Select the Symbol and a pop-up block will display, allowing you to download the available documents as a ZIP Folder.
Digital Itinerary View
Overview Page
When you or your clients view your itinerary, you will notice a banner at the top of the Overview page informing you that there are COVID-19 Documents uploaded in this itinerary. This banner can be closed.
Accommodation Page
When you navigate to the Accommodation Page, There will be an additional Block: COVID-19: Accommodations. Selecting the Download Document(s) link will download a ZIP folder containing all the documents linked to the accommodations in this itinerary.
Next to each hotel that has uploaded documents, the COVID-19 Symbol will display.
Daily Information Page
When you navigate to the Daily Information Page, there will be an additional Block: COVID-19: Activities & Services. Selecting the Download Document(s) link will download a ZIP folder containing all the documents linked to the activities and services in this itinerary. The COVID-19 Symbol will display next to each activity & service with documents loaded.
Virtual Itinerary View
When Viewing the Virtual Itinerary, The COVID-19 banner will display along the top of the screen if there are documents linked to the services in the itinerary. There will also be a COVID-19 Notice block where clients can download the documents in a ZIP folder. Each Accommodation and service with documents loaded will display the COVID-19 Symbol.
Day Tour View
When viewing a Day Tour, the COVID-19 banner will display at the top of the screen. There will also be a COVID-19 Notice block where clients can download the documents in a ZIP folder. Each service with documents loaded will display the COVID-19 Symbol.
Consultant Portal
In the Consultant Portal, each accommodation or service with documents loaded will display the COVID-19 symbol.
To download the documents, select the documents icon to view all the documents the supplier has uploaded. The COVID-19 documents will be listed at the top. In this section, you are able to download them individually.
Building a Catalogue
When Searching for iBrochures to add to your catalogue, those with COVID-19 documents uploaded will display the symbol.
Once added into your itinerary the symbol will display next to the name. When selected, a pop up will display allowing you to download the documents.
Disabling COVID-19 Notification
Should you wish to not display the COVID-19 notifications on your itinerary, you are able to disable these for your account.
Navigate to the Admin section on your Dashboard
Open the Options tab and navigate to the 'Show Covid-19 Notice Documentation' section
Untick the option and a pop up with Terms and Conditions will display
Select 'Accept the Terms' and select 'Update' at the bottom of the page.
This will disable all of the COVID-19 information on the itineraries.
