Itinerary Details: How to Add an Unique Booking URL
In the constant changes that trade partners are making to how they operate and generate leads, we noticed that there is a great demand for making more use of direct booking portals to be added to their itineraries. To help you streamline your bookings, Wetu has built a new Unique Booking URL functionality that will allow you to add your direct booking link to each of your itineraries so that bookings can be made directly from your Virtual/Digital Itineraries.

Getting Started
In Admin, you will need to navigate to the 'Options' tab to enable the Enquiry URL. Here you will need to select the desired permissions.
Disabled
If this permission is selected, then the Unique Booking URL field is not applicable. The current functionality remains.
Admin Only
If this permission is selected, then the Unique Booking URL field is only available to the Admin users of your account. They will be able to see a URL field, add a URL, edit a URL and remove a URL as needed.
All Users
If this permission is selected, then the Unique Booking URL field is available to all users. They will be able to see a URL field, add a URL, edit a URL and remove a URL as needed, whether they are an admin or non-admin users.
Adding a Unique Booking URL
Once the correct user permission has been applied in Admin, you will be able to add in your Unique Booking URL directly from the itinerary builder in 'Step 1: Itinerary Details'.
Enter the desired URL and click on the 'Check URL' button which will allow you to check that the URL provided works and will open the correct booking page.
If the URL is not in a valid format, a red field border will appear and an error message will display. The validation applied here, is to ensure that a valid extension or TLD is added (.us, .uk, .com, .co.za).
A valid Unique Booking URL link will save successfully and the 'Book Now' or 'Enquire' button on the outputs will open a new Windows Tab to navigate the traveller to the correct booking portal.
Working with Identities
When applying an Identity that has it's own 'Enquiry Form URL' assigned to it, an option will be made available allowing you to choose to keep/remove the URL or cancel the re-branding action.
Yes, Keep It
This will apply the Unique Booking URL that you have added in the Itinerary Details step whilst applying the Identities information i.e. Logo and contact details.
No, Remove It
This option will remove the Unique Booking URL and automatically apply the Enquiry Form URL assigned to the Identity.
Cancel
This will abort the process of rebranding the itinerary and keep the Unique Booking URL you have entered.
