How to unblock Wetu pop-ups in your browser

Pop-ups can often cause problems when a Wêtu document or page needs to open up an additional tab or browsing page. Here we will teach you how to block and allow pop-ups.

This functionality is dependent on your computer browser and not Wetu

What is a Pop-up Blocker?

Pop-up blockers are built into common web browsers to prevent unwanted pop-up windows from interfering with and cluttering your browsing experience. Most pop-ups are ads, malware, and other unwanted windows. Advertisers use pop-ups to get your attention and because too much advertisement can be irritating and browsers often automatically set your pop-ups to 'off'.

Programs like Wetu use pop-ups for windows where you might need to add additional information. Wetu pop-ups are necessary when downloading your itineraries or automatically viewing your itineraries in an additional tab in your browser.

Unblocking Pop-Ups On Chrome

Open the Chrome browser and click on the browser menu icon and navigate to 'settings'.

Click on 'privacy and security' on the menu on the left-hand side of the screen and navigate to 'site settings'.

Scroll down and click on 'pop-ups and redirects'.

Here you will be able to block or allow certain websites by clicking on the 'add' button.

Once you have clicked on 'add' you will be able to enter the URL of the website you would like to block or allow pop-ups from and click 'add'.

After you have followed the above step, the website you have added will now appear in the list underneath the heading where you have added it.

Unblocking Pop-Ups On Firefox

Open the Firefox browser, open the Firefox browser, and click on the browser menu and select 'options'.

Navigate to 'privacy and security' and scroll down to the 'permissions' section.

Navigate to the block pop-up windows setting. You can untick to allow pop-ups or tick this option to block pop-ups. If you would like to block pop-ups but allow certain websites, you can click on 'exceptions'.

Add the website URL you would like to allow pop-ups and click 'allow'.

The website will then appear in the list below as a website that will allow pop-ups, you will then select 'save changes' to complete this step.

Unblocking Pop-Ups On Internet Explorer

Open Internet Explorer and click on the browser settings menu icon and navigate to 'Internet options'.

Navigate to the 'privacy' tab, untick to allow pop-ups or tick this option to block pop-ups. If you would like to block pop-ups but allow certain websites, you can click on 'settings'.
