Copy and Transferring Itineraries

A very powerful aspect of Wetu is the ability to Copy Itineraries, tweak them and get them out again working for you.  From the Itinerary Builder you are not only able to access your own Itineraries but all of the Itineraries under your company Profile.

Note: All of the below is found when you enter Edit Existing Personal / Sample Itineraries of the Itinerary Builder 

Copying Itineraries

Click on the drop-down arrow on Copy as New and you will see all the copy options you have.

  • Copy as New - this takes the itinerary you have selected (tick the box to the left of the Itinerary) and reproduces it removing the Name and the Dates
  • Copy as Sample / Personal - this copies the selected Itinerary and reproduces it as a Sample Itinerary (you can copy Sample Itineraries to Personal ones in the same way)
  • Copy as Comp. - this copies the selected Itinerary and reproduces it as a Component where you can edit it to be saved and added to future Itineraries e.g. Three Days in Cape Town
  • Copy - this copies the itinerary you have selected and reproduces it exactly leaving in the Name and the Dates

Viewing All Company Itineraries

You can Copy one of your colleagues itineraries just like you would Copy one of your own - click on My Itineraries in the top left corner of your itinerary folder and Select All Itineraries. 

Transferring Itineraries

To Transfer an Itinerary from another User to your own profile click on My Itineraries in the top left corner of your itinerary folder and Select All Itineraries.  Click on the drop-down arrow on Copy as New and you will see all the copy options you have, which now includes Transfer.  By clicking on Transfer the itinerary will be moved from their profile to yours.
