Components: How to Build a Multiple Day Component

Components are a great way to pre-build sections of travel that can be added to itineraries when needed. This saves time for consultants and allows you to quickly get quotes out to clients. Components were created to form building blocks for an itinerary and cannot be sent out on its own. In this document, we will cover Multiple Day Components with accommodation included.

This functionality is available for all Operator Packages

Getting Started

Once you have opened up the Itinerary Builder from your Dashboard, select 'Multiple Days' in the Create Component Section.

Adding Details

Add the name of your Multiple Day Component and select the language that you would like the component to reflect in. Once you have added in the name of your component and selected the preferred language, click 'Next Step' to continue.

Adding Accommodation

On the Accommodation Step, type in the name of your chosen accommodation. As you start typing, a drop-down menu will appear with options for you to choose between. Select the hotel you are looking for and update the details accordingly. More documents regarding the Accommodation Step can be found here

Note: The hotels you add have to be in the Wetu System, if you cannot find it in the drop-down list and have tried all variations of the name, contact  Support to load it for you.

The Route Builder

The Route Builder allows you to build a map of the route your client will be taking. The Accommodations will already be filled in, however, you will need to add in the start point, endpoint and any stops along the way. Make sure you select the correct mode of transport to fully inform your client of the details. Take a look at all of the help documents on the  Route Builder here

The Planner

The Planner is where we can add in all of the activities and daily information for your clients, giving them a detailed explanation of their daytime movements, any recommended activities and more. Add in some notes and expert tips that you think would benefit your clients so they automatically populate when adding your Component into an itinerary. For more on the Planner, take a look at this section of the Knowledgebase

Finishing Off

Select Finish at the bottom right-hand corner of the Planner Step and your component will save. You can choose to Continue Editing, Save & Exit or Preview the Component.

Using a Multiple Day Component

Once you have finished creating your Component, it is ready to be added into an existing or new itinerary. This document will go further into detail on adding a Multiple Day Component into an Itinerary.
