Getting Started

After logging into Wetu, select 'Itinerary Builder' from your Dashboard

This will open up the Virtual Itinerary Builder where you are able to choose to either create a new itinerary or edit an existing itinerary. How to Build a Basic Itinerary in Wetu will take you through the process of building an itinerary should you need more information on how to build one.

Adding the Motorhome

To add a Motorhome to your itinerary, you will need to be in the Accommodation Step of building your itinerary.

By selecting the blue ‘Accommodation’ button, a new accommodation setup screen will open up. Here you are able to search for the motorhome that you want to arrange for your clients.

Notice as you type in the name of the provider of the motorhome, Wetu will predict different properties/accommodations with what you are typing. Select the desired motorhome from the list.

Note: If you are not able to find the Motorhome you want to book in our system, you can send a request to content@wetu.com to load your desired motorhome to have it available to select.

Next, you can configure some additional details for this motorhome:

Basis
Select the required meal basis from the drop-down menu you are including for your guest during their trip.

Drinks
Select from the drop-down menu whether or not drinks will be included.

Day Grouping
Here you are able to group how the days in the planner stage and in the digital output should be displayed.

Adding Stops

With many motorhome trips, the travelers will stop at a number of caravan/motorhome parks. You are able to add these stops when you add the motorhome accommodation.

It is recommended that you add the stops for the motorhome trip in the Accommodation Step so that the routing in the map will display correctly on the Digital and Virtual outputs.

Once you have added the stops, you can proceed to add the additional details for each of the stops.

Day/Night Icon Toggle
Here you are able to build in all of the stops along the trip. The 'moon' icon will be used to indicate where you travelers will overnight and the 'sun' icon will be used to indicate day stops for excursions.

Select a Stop
Type in the name of the location where your travelers will either overnight or do a day stop and select it from the pre-populated list provided by Wetu.

Destination
Here you are able to select which destination content, images and descriptions you want to appear on the itinerary you are sending to your clients.

Nights
Select how many nights your clients will stay at the caravan/motorhome park.

Route Builder

Once you tab over to the Route Builder Step, you will see that points for all the stops have automatically been added to the map. You will need to build the routes between the various stops.

To do this you will need to enter the Start and End location as well as any stop along the way ( if you have not indicated any day stops in the Accommodation step )

Adding the Self Drive Mode of Transport
The next step is to select the Mode of Transport from the available list. In most motorhome trips the mode will be 'Self-Drive'.

Once the mode has been selected, you will need to click on the blue 'car' icon to specify details for that day's route including the correct vehicle icon.

Adding a Custom Route
Adding a Custom Route, you will need to select the orange ‘Directions’ button at the bottom screen. This will display all of the self-drive routes in the itinerary.

To edit a route, select the 'pencil' icon and drag the blue line to your desired route. Here you are able to zoom in and out of the map for more accurate directions. For more information on how to fully customise your routes click here

How the Motorhome Route will be displayed on the Itinerary

In the Digital or Virtual Itinerary output that you send to your clients, the route that you have selected or built as Custom Route will be displayed in the Map overview of the itinerary.
