Components: How to Build a Day Component

Day Components are a great way to pre-build sections of travel that can be added to itineraries when needed. This saves time for consultants and allows you to quickly get quotes out to clients.

This functionality is available for all Operator Packages

Getting Started

Open up the Itinerary Builder and select to create a Day Component.

Itinerary Details

Add in the name of your component as well as select the language that you would like the component to reflect in. Once you have added in the name of your component and/ or selected the preferred language, click 'Next Step' to continue.

Planner

Just as you add activities in the itinerary builder, type in your activities and use the drop-down menu to select the correct activity or attraction.

If the activity or attraction you are looking for is not listed, you can add Free Text to create your own activity option. Day Tours and Meet & Greets can also be added and selected as part of your component. Day Notes, Expert Tips as well as what is Included and Excluded for the day can be included.

Note: To make your text blocks a bit bigger while typing in your notes, click on the green expand icon

Finishing Off

To finish off your component, all that is left to do is select either Quick Save or Save & Exit on the top left-hand side of the page to save the component for it to be used in one of your itineraries. There is no client link for components as they can only be added to itineraries and not sent on their own.
