Route Builder: How do I add Additional Details to Mode of Transport
In this article, you will learn how to add additional travel information that you may have left out when building your itinerary for the first time. If you are unsure of how to build an itinerary, you’ll need to start with our Introduction to the Itinerary Builder HelpDoc.

Getting Started
Most of your travel details will be found in the Route Builder Step of your Itinerary Builder.
Transfers
To add a transfer to the trip, select 'Transfer' from the drop-down menu
To add details to the Transfer, click on the 'Bus' icon to the right of the drop-down menu.
A pop-up will appear for you to add the relevant details. Click 'Save Details' when finished.
Icon
Select which type of transfer you are arranging
Company
This is where you can select the details for the transfer company you will be using. This can either be from your pre-loaded contacts or added as free text.
Type
Select from the drop-down which type of Transfer it is
Vehicle Type
Type in what type of vehicle will be used to do the transfer
Reference
If there is a reference number that the transfer company uses this is where you can enter it.
Pick Up & Drop Off
Place/Branch
These fields will pre-populate with the Start and Endpoint of the part of the route you are currently configuring.
Travel date for route
This pre-populates based on the dates you have entered in the accommodation step.
Time
Enter the time the for the pickup and drop off
Telephone
Enter the telephone number of the transfer company. If you have loaded a contact then this field will pre-populate.
Scheduled Flights
The mode of transport will automatically default to a Self Drive. From the drop-down menu, you will need to select Scheduled Flight as the most convenient way to get from one destination to another ( city ).
To enter the flight details, click on the 'Plane' icon on the right-hand side. This will open a window where you are able to update all of the flight information.

Icon
This is defaulted to plane. There are no other options to choose from here.
Flight Company
This is where you can select the details for the airline you will be using. This can either be from your loaded contacts or by free text.
Flight Number
If there is a flight number for the Scheduled Flight this is where you can enter it.
Ticket Numbers
here you are able to add the E-ticket number for the flights. To add more than one ticket number you can click on the plus and then scroll down to add the information.
Ticket Class
Ticket class information can be added
Departure and Arrival
Airport
The departure and arrival points pre-populate based on the routing you have built.
Terminal
The departure terminal can be manually entered. The arrival airport pre-populates.
Date
This pre-populates based on the dates you have entered in the accommodation step.
Flight Time
Enter the arrival and departure times for the flight.
Flight Duration
This is the amount of time the flight will take. You will need to manually calculate and enter the flight duration.
Check-in prior to flight
This is where you can indicate how long in advance your clients have to check in for their charter flights.
Telephone
Enter the telephone number of the charter flight company. If you have loaded a contact then this field will pre-populate.
Charter Flights
Charter Flight mode of transport has changed slightly to allow you to add more information that is useful.
First, do your routing and select the mode of transport as 'Charter Flight' from the drop-down list.
Once you have selected the mode of transport as Charter Flight click on the 'Charter Flight' icon. This will open up the ‘Charter flight - Booking details’ screen.
Icon
Here you will have the choice of selecting the Light Aircraft, Helicopter or Sea Plane icon to indicate the type of aircraft for the charter flight.
Scheduled Departures
If you click on the ‘View Timetable’ button, you will be able to see the scheduled departures for the charter flight.
Flight Company
This is where you can select the details for the charter company you will be using. This can either be from your loaded contacts or as free text.
Type
From the drop-down menu provided, you would be able to select the type of charter flight it would be.
Flight Number
If there is a flight number for the charter flight, this is where you can enter it.
Reference Number
If there is a flight reference number for the Charter Flight this is where you can enter it.
Ticket Class
Ticket class information can be added
Departure & Arrival
Airport
The departure and arrival points pre-populate based on the routing you have built.
Terminal
Here you are able to enter the departure terminal. The arrival airstrip/airport should pre-populate, however, you can add your own arrival airstrip or airport.
Date
The dates pre-populates based on the dates you have entered whilst setting up the accommodation.
Flight Time
Here you are able to enter the exact arrival and departure times for the charter flight.
Flight Duration
This is the amount of time the flight will take. You will need to manually calculate and enter the flight duration.
Check-in prior to flight
This is where you can indicate how long in advance your clients would have to check in for their charter flights.
Telephone
Enter the telephone number of the charter flight company. If you have loaded a contact then this field will pre-populate.
